Greetings, and happy New Year! My name is Alana Levandoski, and I composed the music to this Tennyson poem, Ring Out, Wild Bells, published in 1850. It is from a requiem entitled In Memoriam, written for his sister’s fiancé, who died very suddenly that year. I am a song and chant writer who has been described by one listener as “the love child of Emmylou Harris and a desert Abba”, Here I am… ![]() You can get to know a bit more about me later… in the meantime, please ring in the New Year with these words of longing and hope.
