Amber started really evaluating her faith in her early 20s, and it’s continuing to grow through all difficulties from leaving a cult.  After many years of deconstructing, she decided to start her social media presence to give voice to cult survivors and give a space for others to not feel alone.

Pros: Thanks for sharing your story, Amber! This is a very redemptive testimony from your experience of abuse and judgment in churches and your childhood to freedom and joy in your current church. I like how you talk about your individual relationship with God and the uniqueness of it. It was also insightful that you realized what you believed was your spiritual gift was a survival mechanism. You don’t have to make others happy as you were made to believe.
Cons: It was very political at the beginning of the podcast and somewhat of a turnoff.
